Vendor Management

Regular and job specific contracted work must be reviewed, monitored and directed to insure that scope of work and owner standards are maintained.  This requires regular involvement by a manager to prevent vendors from becoming complacent or to assure standards are maintained as vendors change employees and supervisors.  There is always a desire by owners to competitively bid and secure the most economical vendor contracts for services to help minimize overall operating costs for projects which must be managed.  Summit has established long term vendor relationships with proven vendors to insure that only qualified and licensed contractors are used when bidding work or services.
